For those of you who were interested in my $40/3 sweater deal from New York and Company, here's a quick review.
Overall, I love them, especially for the price. The fabric feels like cashmere but is Acrylic. No matter, it's soft and pretty. The buttons on the edges appear a bit loosely attached, but of course, that is easily fixable. Some loose threads were noted, too.
The fit was pretty nice, with the exception of the grey version. For some reason, it was about 1 inch shorter at the hems than the others were, so it's getting exchanged for another (I think it was an unfortunate fluke...).
Pardon messy bathroom shots, and pre-all-gussied-up-state....
This purple is super pretty! Great for the Spring... but I'll be getting use out of it now, too. :)
And the piece de resistance-- the beautiful sherbet melon hue. Oh lordy. I love this. And it's coming out with me tonight (7th annual Christmas party with my friends... yippee!), paired with J Crew's Slub cotton faded floral tee, a beaded necklace and my AE super-skinny jeans. Oh yes... and a glass of Pinot Noir. Nom nom.
Ooooooo... that last sweater + the outfit and accessories, SO pulled together. It looks great!
