1. Happy St. Patrick's Day, ya'll!
2. Regarding my giveaway, I never heard from CDP (which I suspected). A life lesson here, bloggies: PLEASE leave your contact info in giveaway posts! Pleeeeease! So I re-ran Random.org's generator, and it came up with 3, which was E. Hayes from Strawberry Swing and Other Things! I'm so happy she won because she is so sweet and has a super-cute blog. Check her out!!
3. I have been talking (vaguely) about a big decision I had to make recently, and I'm now ready to reveal: I will officially be at Texas Women's University come the fall of 2010 in pursuit of a Ph.D. in psychology!!!! Yay!! Ya'll will be calling me DOCTOR Justine. Heh. On a more serious note, it may have been one of the most difficult decisions I've ever made. But I really shouldn't dwell on the hard part of it because this has been long comin', peeps. This has been a dream of mine for quite some time, and I worked SUPER hard to get to where I'm at now. Gotta say I'm proud of myself! *pats on back.*
4. You may have noticed a few little changes on the blog today (little HTML fixes), and I'll be "unveiling" a new header and look on Friday!! Nothing huge, but I'm excited because:
a) I did it all by myself. Look, Ma, no hands!! (p.s. I am quite the n00B at all this)
b) I spent about 10 hours on Photoshop getting my new header all purdy (and it's still pretty beginner, heh). I think the aesthetics will be a little better and a little less haphazard.
c) I can't get sued for a picture I can't credit. Ooops? :)
Erin Go Bragh!

ReplyDeleteAnd can't wait to see the new header! Sweet! Did you use real photoshop or something off the 'net? I'm looking for a photo editing program that I can download (free, obvs preferably). :)
