(Correction: this is not at all important, sort of like the fodder of this entire blog. BUT, it is supah-fun. Heh.)
Which do I get? (Please keep in mind that NEITHER of these items are necessary or even all that useful. They are fun and unpractical, so keep that in mind when stating your opinion. And no, I don't want to spend my money on something I'll wear everyday, because where's the fun in that?)
This:
or That:
(Pelle Moda Finet cage sandal, in Aloe)
I've been obsessed with that jacket since it came out months ago. Pros: will go between seasons and can be worn as either a jacket or a shirt (when belted up). It also has a vintage flare to it, plus all I would need is a tank and a pair of jeans and there's a fun outfit! Con: it's a lot of animal.
The shoes have also been on my wishlist since I first saw them months ago. Pros: that color. Look at that color. Sigh. But, they're season specific (not fall or winter appropriate!). And I've been finding myself wearing heels less and less (although I've been wearing them a ton in my blog photos).
So... help?
DEFINITELY the shoes!!!! But only because I had listed them on my "summer wishlist" on J's The Look 4 Less.... maybe if I buy the nude ones I wanted, we can be even more twinsies...
ReplyDeletespeak of, blouse arrived yesterday. I'm having second thoughts :/
Ooooh that's tough. I think I'm leaning towards the shoes....but the jacket is DVF. And I love me some DVF.
ReplyDeleteHi Justine,
ReplyDeleteTBH I think the jacket is hideous. I can't figure out why you like it, it doesn't seem like your style, either. The shoes, on the other hand, are glorious, so you should definitely get those! And I think they could be worn with tights in autumn....
Ooh, my likey the shoes. Definitely different and I love the stuf details. I have a pair of wedges that color and it is surprising how much stuff it goes with!
ReplyDeleteOr we can call them STUD details. Dur, Lisa.
ReplyDeletelol... I know, super chic, right?
ReplyDeletehehe... yeah, the jacket is definitely taste-specific, but I do love it! I think it just gets categorized under my "loves anything with animal print, anything at all" file. :) The color of those shoes, though... heart.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the ladies above. Definitly the shoes! Very cool. And Lilly's right, I think tights would work when the weather cools down.

SHOES! SHOES! SHOES! :)
ReplyDeleteI choose the jacket because 1) It's DVF!!! Love her! 2)It's not season specific so it can carry you through fall and 3) It's versatile. It can be worn open or closed for a totally different look.
ReplyDeleteMy vote is for the shoes, I don't really care for the jacket at all.
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for the shoes from me!!!
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are insane! I lean towards those, but the jacket would probably see a lot of good use and seems like you could wear it at any age.
ReplyDeleteI vote for the jacket! I think it could be a great piece for any season and it's so you!
ReplyDeletei vote for the jacket. it's unique, and i think you could probably wear it with lots of different things - jeans, leggings, pencil skirt, shorts? maybe not shorts...oh wait..the girl in the picture is wearing shorts, so yeah, shorts! haha. and you could definitely wear through the next few seasons, too!
ReplyDeleteLove the shoes!
ReplyDeleteThere were some shoes at Aldo in a similar color that I looooved - I think they'd really act as a neutral and you could wear them with a lot of outfits.
ReplyDeleteHowever, something tells me you'd get more use out of the jacket...especially with cold offices and when you say you're wearing a lot of flats now. I say go jacket! You know, or get both. :P hahahahahha
I would go for the shoes. They're gorgeous. But then again, it sounds like you might be trying to convince yourself to go with the cardi. Either one would be great, but again, but vote is for the shoes!
ReplyDeletethe shoes. i dont likethe jacket
ReplyDeleteI bought those shoes in nude and promptly returned them since they're really not all that flattering on. :( I was so sad.
ReplyDeleteI love them both...but I say get the jacket...so unique and versatile!!
