1. Wear it and hope I can run fast enough from building to building so that the sweat doesn't build up enough to leave stains (ewww, TMI).
2. Eff it all and wear it in the fall, despite its blatant spring-like tones. (With a chunky beige cardigan? And boots/jeans?)
3. All of the above. :)
Here's number one in action... (p.s. These are indeed shorts. No, I am not prancing around town in a skirt that barely covers my lady-parts. No, when I bend over you don't get a sneak peek. Yes, they still are super short!)
Top: Tucker Washed out Watercolor blouse
Shorts: UO ruffle tap shorts
Shoes: {from a local boutique}
Belt: F21
Also... when the heck are we going to see a Tucker for Target lookbook? Hmmm? I'm dyin' over here, peeps!!
I totally beg to differ, it will TOTES work for fall!! dark skinnies, (any color boot) and a Justine staple blazer?! um... you have like 25 pre-made outits there... the coral would be an awesome pop of color against fall plums, charcoal, navy, etc....
ReplyDeleteThe blouse is beautiful :).
ReplyDeleteCan't get over that blouse - looks lovely on you!
ReplyDeleteSOOO pretty Justin!! I have to yet to bust those shorts out yet.
ReplyDeleteI meant Justine obvi!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great piece. I think with a chunky sweater, jeans and riding boots it would be perfect for fall. Until then...run fast :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely LOVE those shorts!! Also I say to hell with it, wear it through fall. :)
ReplyDeleteI like that top - so pretty! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOVE that Tucker top! Both a Tucker top and dress are on my wish list! You definitely should wear the shirt in the fall, it will go with so much!
ReplyDeleteI vote 3, wear that pretty blouse!!! When fall comes just pull the colors in that top, but in a darker tone (i.e. navy cardigan, burnt orange skirt, grey blazer).
ReplyDeleteTucker tops don't always fit me well, but I'm excited to see the collection for Target, especially since I saw one blouse in the newest Lucky magazine (but it was a polka dot print which generally isn't the norm for a Tucker print).
Short or not, you look AMAZING. I'm totally jealous of how fantastic those shorts are and that blouse is PERFECT! So pretty. I'd wear it in any season just because I like it so much.
ReplyDeleteYou look *gorgeous* in this outfit Justine! And I think that blouse will definitely work in the fall-time, not summery at all. Like you suggested, a chunky beige cardigan would look fantastic, and it would also be good with boots and/or skinnies.

Yeah, I go with option number 3. I think the colors in the shirt are great for both Summer and Fall. Love the shorts!
ReplyDeleteI love that top! There's no reason not to wear it in the fall :) The chunky cardigan and boots sounds perfect for this!

There's a shot of one of the Target Tucker blouses in this month's Lucky. It's an adorable short sleeved, tie front, cream with red polka dot blouse. I'm definitely scooping it up when the collection hits stores (on 9/10, I believe).
ReplyDeleteI love those shorts! I think you could defiantly wear the shirt into the fall because of the gray tones in it. It'll look amazing with
ReplyDeletejeans and boots.
